Smekermann Beautiful Indian Classical album. Explores the dynamics and harmonics of the santoor, and Voyer's improvisation is top-class. I've mostly listened to Tarun Bhattacharya and Shivkumar Sharma when it comes to the santoor; Voyer's approach is different, more subtle. It's interesting to hear a different take on the instrument in the context of a serious exploration of a raga like this. I'd put it alongside Sharma's Raga Bhimpalasi, in that regard. Favorite track: Drut tīntāl.
